Dear Keith Wilbert Jr.'s Family,

I am Mike Hairston and I am a Senior at the University of Arkansas and I am from North Little Rock, AR.

I grew up knowing Keith through basketball. When we were about 13 and 14 years old, I remember playing for Horace Mann with I.J. Ready and Bobby Portis and going up against Dunbar at Dunbar Middle School. It was supposed to be a great rivalry game and it definitely lived up to the expectations. There was one specific kid on that Dunbar team that stuck out the most and it was the PG Keith Wilbert. He might've been the smallest guy on the court but he was still getting those buckets. He made me become an instant Allen Iverson fan and every time we saw each other after that 7th grade basketball game we always spoke to each other and respected one another deeply.

I work at K-Hall & Son's Produce during the summer time and I always use to catch Keith coming in and lighting up the store just because of his smile, attitude and Christ-like ways. He may be gone from this Earth but he will NEVER be gone in our hearts, mind or soul. He left an impression on everyone he met and knew and that can never be forgotten. I continuously pray for the family and friends who were effected by this tragedy and I know the Lord never makes any mistakes. He is loved by many and I know God has favor and grace over the Wilbert Family.

"All things are possible, if you believe."

The Wilbert/Mitchell Family,
Sometime we don't understand but God in His infinite wisdom has a plan and a purpose for all things. And He's a God that can not make mistakes.
Jude 1:24 "Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling. To God our Saviour, who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever, Amen."

We love you and will continue to speak words of prayer for your strength and endurance. May God continue to bless & keep you.
