Thomas Lee Johnson, Jr. was born October 23, 1964 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Thomas Sr. and Velma Jones Johnson. He united with Zion Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Tony Jackson. Thomas attended Lonoke High School in Lonoke, Arkansas. After school he joined the Army National Guard.

He was currently employed with Cartrall (UAMS) but had worked for the Little Rock School District and the VA Hospital. Junior as he was so affectionately called loved helping his family whenever he was asked. He enjoyed having a good time and hanging out with his family. During gatherings he was always fashionable with his plaid shirts and starched jeans or his all white shirts with starched white jeans. Junior will truly be missed.

He transitioned from this earthly life on Thursday, October 8, 2020. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Thomas and Velma Johnson, grandparents, Lindsey and Lula Johnson and Joseph and Susie Jones.

Junior leaves to cherish his memories, six children, Tamara (Ernest) Young, North Little Rock, Arkansas; April (Anthony) Johnson, Arlington, Texas; Kedria Johnson, North Little Rock, Arkansas; Chris Jones, North Little Rock, Arkansas; Latavius (Shawnell) Green, North Little Rock, Arkansas and Brandon Johnson, North Little Rock, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Arianna, Alunna, Aniya, Anthony Johnson, Jacoby Jones and Cynthia Green, one sister, Patricia (Eddie) Dixon, North Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers, Melvin Johnson and Bobby Johnson both of Scott, Arkansas and Randy Johnson, Benton, Arkansas; uncles, Benny Jones, Carl Jones, and Aaron Jones all of Scott, Arkansas; Roy Lee Jones, Jacksonville, Arkansas and Jerome (Jolanda) Jones, Little Rock, Arkansas; aunts, Bernice Holmes, North Little Rock, Arkansas; Bertha (Sammy) Dishman, Little Rock, Arkansas; Josephine Johnson, Jacksonville, Arkansas; Catherine Johnson, Little Rock, Arkansas and Sara Jones, Jacksonville, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
