Adda Jared Adcock Williams, 83, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on June 29, 1941, in Cameron, Oklahoma, to Paul and Blanche Jared.
Adda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who dedicated her life to those she loved. She is survived by her three children: Jerry Adcock of Minnesota, Eunice Lane of Arkansas, and JoAnn Southwell (Wayne Jr.) of Minnesota; her three cherished grandchildren: Amber Michelle Blalock, Wayne Thomas Southwell III, and Jared Quinn Southwell; her sister, Priscilla Huitt and her brother, Herman Jared.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Blanche Jared; her beloved grandson, Daniel Lane; four brothers, Lenial (Jiggs) Stankewitz, Alban Jared, Paul Jared Jr., and Ralph Jared; and three sisters, Betty Dougherty, Carolyn Morris, and Judy Jared.
Adda leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and warmth. Her life was a testament to the values of hard work and care for others. She found immense joy in tending to her flower gardens, going to the beach with friends, cooking meals that nourished both body and soul, creating beautiful embroidery pieces, and selflessly taking care of those around her.
Adda's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her love, laughter, and lessons will forever be a guiding light.
