Albert Davis Williams Jr., 74 of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026. He was born on December 31, 1951, in Heth, Arkansas. Known affectionately as "Junior" to family and friends. Albert lived a life centered around family, faith, and kindness to everyone. He never met a stranger.
Junior was a devoted father, brother, and friend, who found joy in music, gatherings by the river, and spending time with loved ones. He loved his grandchildren and extended family with all his heart. He was known for his generous spirit, his warm laugh, and his loyalty to those he loved.
He is survived by his loving former wife, Pearline Williams: his children , TaTanisha Williams-Thompson, Aldarylro "Al" Williams, and Teva Wright (Raymond); five siblings: Willie Mae Parker (Frank), Hattie McClure, Peggy Williams (Hosea), Betty Ann Jenkins-Boyd, and Charles Spencer (Sandra); and his two grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Henry Thompson (Angela), and his parents.
A Celebration of Life and Memory in the Park were held Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 4 p.m. at Platinum BBQ and Music on the Riverfront. A second memorial service was held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at noon, hosted at Serenity Funeral Home.
Albert will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for family gatherings, and his loyalty to those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and connection that will live on in all who knew him.
