Artie Jerome Morris, Jr. aka AJ was born October 29, 1994 in Los Angeles, California to the late Artie Morris, Sr. and Elissa Fitzgerald Morris. AJ graduated from Lonoke High School class of 2013. After graduation he attended Arkansas Tech at Russellville, Arkansas where he received an associate of Art Degree in General Education, a Bachelors Degree in Communication with a Minor in Journalism.
AJ loved to travel and would often say life is short enjoy it. His family and friends were on the top of his list of importance; he loved them dearly. He was smart, soft spoken and a very intelligent young man. He was known for his style of wearing a bow tie. When he talked to students and other youth, AJ was known to say "STAY GOLDEN" everyone knew this meant to stay encouraged.
AJ departed this life September 27, 2020, preceded by his father, Artie Morris, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother Elissa Morris, two sisters, Artice Morris Hart, Lonoke, Arkansas; Alissa Morris, Lonoke, Arkansas; a step-sister, Jasmine Tate, Lonoke, Arkansas; a brother, Anthony Morris, McKinney, Texas; nephew, Patrick Hart III, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
