Billie Jean Waller was born November 20, 1959, to the late Lonnie and Gladys Turner of Scott, Arkansas. Jean was preceded in death by her brother Edward Lee Turner, her sister-in-law Doris Turner, and her brothers-in-law Doris Cole and John Harris.
Our beloved Jean graduated from Lonoke High School in 1977 and had a passion for literature and humanities. Upon graduation, Jean continued her love for her fellow man by serving in the National Guard enlisting in the United States Air Force. She was stationed at Cocoa Beach, Florida. After an honorable discharge, she accepted an Administrative Operations position with the FBI. After an additional twenty years of service, Jean retired as a senior analyst from the Department of Justice in 2019. Our Billie Jean loved to laugh, and her warmth lit up every room her feet carried her to.
Jean devoted countless hours volunteering at Arkansas Children's Hospital brightening the spirits of sick children by reading stories of hope. An avid cook, her family and friends will miss her sharing new recipes and the plating of her famous holiday dishes, especially her cookies and tea cakes.
Jean leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Alvin "Duke" Waller of Scott, Arkansas, her son Marcos Davy, his wife Megan their two children, Mabel and Marlow of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and her bonus children, Kesha Robinson and Wayne Waller. Jean is laid to rest by her elder siblings, John (Gwen) Turner of Sherwood, AR, Cozetta Cole of Little Rock, AR, and Kathy (Robert) Harris of Lonoke, AR. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Jean also leaves her legacy to her beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
