Cecill "Mank" Roberson was born January 7, 1958, in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late George Roberson Jr. and Earnestine Dodson Roberson. Cecill Professed a hope in Christ early in life at St. John Baptist Church in Lonoke. Cecill was devoted to her job at Golden Years Manor for thirty plus years. She was a great cook and loved to feed the neighborhood. Her specialties were smoked meats, chitlins, dressing, greens, and casseroles. Cecill loved hanging with her sisters, her niece Shan, and her grandchildren.
Cecill transitioned from this life on Sunday, September 11, 2022. She is preceded in death by her lifelong companion Jackie Jones McPeace, her father and mother, two brothers, Leonard Roberson and George Roberson III. Cecill will be lovingly remembered by her children Marcell McPeace, Lonoke, Arkansas; Brittany McPeace, North Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren Demiyah and Londynn, her bonus children, Sterling, Keisha, Vera, Jackeli, Rachad, Brainon and Apral, and eighteen bonus grandchildren. Also, a special place in their heart of remembrance will be her siblings, Robert Earl Calhoun, North Little Rock, Arkansas; Beverly Brown, Jacksonville, Arkansas; Bernestine Mays and Patricia Roberson, both of Lonoke, Arkansas, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and dear friends.
