"Well done, good and faithful servant."- Matthew 25:23
On February 18, 2026, Charles Lee Edmonson took his rest. A man of strength, wisdom, and quiet power, he lived a life that spoke louder than words ever could.
Charles was born on September 8, 1946, in England, Arkansas, to the late Lille Mae Edmonson and Andy Edmonson Sr. He was raised in Seaton, Arkansas, where he learned early the value of hard work, faith, and family. Those lessons shaped the man he would become- a provider, an instructor, a protector, and a steady foundation for everyone blessed to know him.
He was a proud Baptist who believed in God not just in word, but in action. Charles didn't just talk about faith- he walked it, through trails, through pain, through seasons that would have broken many men, he stood firm. Even surviving double amputations, he remained strong in spirit, determined, and unshaken. His life reflected the scripture: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
Charles was an entrepreneur and a farmer- a builder of things and a builder of people. He worked with his hands, his mind, and his heart. Whether her was landscaping, fixing something that others thought couldn't be fixed, or creating playlists for the people he loved, he poured himself into everything he did. If he gave it to you, it meant something. His love language was gift-giving-thoughtful, intentional, and personal. He showed love through action.
He was an amazing cook, a teacher in everyday life, and a father who led by example. He didn't just provide financially- he provided wisdom, security, and a blueprint for strength. He was the kind of man whose presence made you feel covered.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lille Mae Edmonson and Andy Edmonson Sr., and his sister, Leomie.
He leaves to cherish his legacy and memories his loving wife, Reonth Edmonson; his children, Arturon and MaryAnn; his grandchildren, CJ, Christian and Chelsi; and his brothers Lawrence, Isiah, Andy, and Larry, along with a host of extended family and loved ones who will forever carry his lessons in their hearts.
Charles Lee Edmonson was a strong man. A faithful man. A man who endured. A man who taught. A man who provided.
And now, after a life well lived and a race well ran, he has heard the words every good man deserves: Well done.
