David Donnell Johnson Sr.

David Donnell Johnson, Sr. was born June 21, 1965, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Ellis Johnson, Jr. and Dorothy Campbell. David received Christ in his life at an early age and was baptized in 1982 at Evangelistic Outreach Church under the leadership of Apostle Emma Lucket. He graduated from Dollarway High School in 1984 and joined the Navy in June of 1984. David was honorably discharged in 1988.

David transitioned from this life Sunday, July 26, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Ellis Johnson, Jr., and a sister Stephanie Johnson. David leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Dorothy Campbell, ex-wife, Yvonne Miller, son, David Johnson, Jr., Little Rock, Arkansas; three daughters, Vannessa Sims and Gabriel Johnson both of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Sarina Johnson, California; three brothers, Tyrone Johnson, Lanny Johnson and Tony Johnson, two sisters Lashonda Johnson and Linda Johnson, grandchildren, Deandre Johnson, Malvern, Arkansas; Jermar Sims, Ja'Briel Johnson, J'Niyah Sims, David Johnson, III and Grace Hughes, four step-grandchildren, his Aunt Thelma Johnson, Missouri; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, friends and family.
