Forrest William "Boogie" Davis, 78, of Lonoke, Arkansas was born to the late Carrie Dodson Phillips & Roosevelt Davis, Sr. Forrest was known as Boogie to his family & friends. A very caring, loving and passionate person with a unique hobby. He was a master craftsman at making tables and chairs out of tree limbs. Forrest enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brother-n-law Curtis. He graduated from Carver High School in Lonoke with the class of 1961. After graduation he joined the United States Army where he served his country for three years. During his military career Forrest earned an Auto Repair Certificate, also a letter of Commendation as a Marksman (Carbine & Rifle M-14). He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Forrest Davis, Jr., a brother Robert "Billy" Malone and a sister Allie Wilkins. Forrest leaves to cherish his memories a son, Tobey (Donna) Davis Belton, Westminister, Massachusetts, three daughters, Edna Davis, Margarett Mock and Erica Davis all of Detroit, Michigan; a sister Gertha (Curtis) Todd, Detroit, Michigan; a special niece Lucille Cogshell, North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
