George Edward Carroll

George Edward Carroll, 77, of Hemet, California  was born April 29, 1937 in Pettus, Arkansas to the late Ezell and Elnora Bea Carroll.  George departed this life on Friday, February 20, 2015.  Before retiring George developed a passion for landscaping.  He spent several years of his life beautifying lawns throughout the state of California.  As his passion and dedication as a Master Gardner intensified George opened and operated his own business perfecting lawns.
George moved to San Diego, California in 1956, and later relocated to Hemet, California.  He met and married Geraldine Cox in 1957.  In addition to his parents, two sons, Greg and Ricky Carroll, one sister Earnestine, a brother Marion Charles Carroll, and his grandmother Della Peterson preceded him in death. 
He is survived by two daughters, Denise and Teresa Carroll of San Diego, California, seven grandchildren, Ricky Jr., Cameron, Gerald, Jonathan, Drew, Danisha and Dearce Carroll, three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Dallas and Jonathan Carroll,  seven sisters, Dorothy Dodson, Delories Allison, Mildred (Mike) Jones, Lonoke, Arkansas, Della Burton, Maxine Williams, Hemet, California, Jewelean Swift, Bellflower, California and Allie Hightower, Monrovia, California, one aunt Anne Peterson, Little Rock, Arkansas,
Graveside service will be Saturday, February 28, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Lonoke Cemetery.
