Jane Ellen Wright Farmer was born in Kerr, Arkansas on July 15, 1955, to the late Carlton (Mr. Buck) and Plythie Wright. She professed Christ as her Savior at an early age at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Kerr, Arkansas. Late in life, when she moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas she joined Mount Pisgah Baptist Church where she remained a member until she passed.
"Jane Ella" as she was known by her family and friends, was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a devoted wife and mother. Jane was always willing to help others in any way she could, whether it was listening, giving, or encouraging. She had a quiet spirit about her, but she loved to laugh and have a good time. Jane Ella's favorite things to do were word search books, shopping on the weekend with her niece and attending church on Sundays.
Jane Ella departed this life April 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jane leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of thirty- four years, Curtis L. Farmer of Jacksonville, Arkansas, one son, Marquis D. Farmer of Jacksonville, Arkansas, two stepdaughters: Veronica Farmer and Myrna Farmer both of Jacksonville, Arkansas, two brothers: Benny Wright of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Leon (Patricia) Wright of North Little, Arkansas, one brother-in-law, Donnie Cherry of Little Rock, Arkansas, two sisters-in-law: Lucille Yancy of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Verna L. Jackson of Little Rock, Arkansas, one aunt: Corrine Wright of Minneapolis, Minnesota, two nieces: Denise T. Wright of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Patti L. Wright of North Little Rock, Arkansas, one great niece, Jina K. Wright and two great nephews: Jeremiah and Jayvion Wright all of North Little Rock, Arkansas, special friend and God-mother of son, Anita Davidson and a host of cousins and friends.
