Jason Profit Sr. Obituary

Jason Alexander Profit aka Jay Profit was born in Little Rock, AR July 10,1974 to Sandra Kay Paige and Jacob Profit II.  Since birth Jason was always the life and light in every room he stepped in.  In his earlier years of life, Jason played football and was one of the best artists you'd ever seen. Jason was baptized at age 9 at Rice Memorial Baptist church.  His love for Christ grew stronger when he decided to become an ordained pastor in his early 20's.  He went from what many would think was a sweet Romeo to a loving and committed husband at the age of 19.  Jason will tell anyone that the greatest joys of his life was meeting and marrying his high school sweetheart and queen Dorian and the birth of his 5 beautiful children.

Jason never met a stranger and if he did, after the long and heartfelt conversation, they had become friends who would eventually feel like family.  That is just the presence he carried through his entire life.  Jason was the one in the family whom you could depend on for anything and no matter what it was, he was always one call away.  He was the biggest jokester with the biggest heart and was loved by so many.

Jason believed in reaching new heights of success in life.  When he made the decision of going back to college at a non-traditional age, he not only accomplished this but graduated with his Bachelors from Philander Smith University.  Jason also believed in making money and taking care of his family.  He took his entrepreneurial life seriously and was a businessman to his heart.  He and his wife's company proved that you could become successful if you keep God first and trust him no matter the situation.  Jason believed in good health, good wealth and made it a mission to bring better health awareness to his friends and family.  He and his family even started the 4MY Shirt apparel brand because he wanted the world to know that they loved and worshipped Jesus Christ.

Throughout his life Jason proved that his daily life was led by God.  This was shown in his daily walk, talk, and actions.  Although he was the most comical, tight hugging, kissing, and even a bit teasing soul, he had a heart of gold filled with a spirit of love.  Jason was one of God's public servants of love, joy, peace and laughter.  His life will always be remembered as such by all the lives he touched simply with his happy soul!

Jason will always be known for his wonderfully kind personality and infectious smile that he carried so well in this world.  His memory will live on through his amazing children and family who loved him so much.  He will be missed dearly yet we know that he is resting in the arms of God.

Jason leaves to cherish his wife, Dorian, of 31 years, 5 children: Alexandria, Jordan, Jessica, Leah, and Jason II.  Brothers: Previn, Jacob III, and Joseph.  One sister, Jaquet and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
