Kevin Vincent Davidson

February 27, 1958 ~ January 23, 2023 (age 64) 64 Years Old

Obituary

Bro. Kevin Vincent Davidson was born on February 27, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Bettye Davidson Stanton. He was the second of seven siblings.

Bro. Davidson professed a hope in Christ at an early age at William Street Holiness Church in Mobile, Alabama. In 2019, he united with New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ in Lonoke, Arkansas under the leadership of Superintendent Arthur L. Terry. He remained a faithful member until his passing.

Bro. Davidson and family moved to Mobile, Alabama when he was very young. In high school, he loved black history and was active in football and track. In 1979, he moved to Arkansas and worked as a manager at 76 Truck Stop, a truck driver for Beavers Express and Film Transit. He later worked at Remington Arms until he became ill. In his spare time, you would find him making and sewing beautiful quilts. Bro. Davidson loved his grandchildren and was very proud and boastful about their accomplishments.

Bro. Davidson was united in holy matrimony to Anita Marie Johnson on April 2, 1983. To this union, one child was born.

Bro. Davidson was preceded in death by his mother, Bettye Stanton; stepfather, Fred Stanton; and brother, William Davidson.

He departed this earthly life on Monday, January 23, 2023.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted wife of thirty-nine years, Anita Davidson, three daughters: Takisha Sabbs, Jacksonville, Arkansas; Jessica (Karieem) Webb, Brandon, Florida; Tiffany (Terrence) Williams, Jacksonville, Arkansas; five brothers: Edwin Davidson, Jacksonville, Arkansas; Efrem Davidson and Wilbert Davidson both of Mobile, Alabama; Terrance (Beverly) Davidson, Little Rock, Arkansas; Fred (Zaneta) Stanton, South Haven, Mississippi.
