Lonnie Maddox Sr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, was born on June 26, 1944, to the late Luther Maddox and adopted mother Annie M. Nicholson in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He transitioned from this life on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He attended Southeast School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Maddox, Jr.; one sister Luevenia Banks; one brother Johnny Maddox and one grandchild Brandon R. Anderson.
Lonnie leaves to cherish his memories his wife of thirty-five years, Louise Maddox; one daughter Geneva D. Buckhanan (Robert); one son Anthony Maddox of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Roy Anderson Jr., Shaneka Anderson, Sharonda Anderson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Justin Anderson (Cache) of Henderson, Kentucky; Roxie Maddox of Atlanta, Georgia; eleven great-grandchildren and a host or relatives and friends.
Husband, Daddy, Pawpaw and Brother-in-Law, you will be deeply missed. Thanks for all the good memories we shared. We love you beyond words.
