Otha Dean Ricks was born January 31, 1955, in Allport, Arkansas to the late Clint Ricks and Gladys Robinson. He accepted Christ and was committed to his faith. Ricks attended New Grace Baptist Church and Bethesda Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a motorcycle rider in the late 70's and 80's with the Arkansas Street Brothers. Ricks was a skilled basketball player at Humnoke High School where he graduated in 1973.
He was loved by many and was called Ricks by the people who knew him. Ricks loved History and was very knowledgeable in the subject. He worked for Jacuzzi Brothers in Little Rock for many years and at Old Main High School where he was supervisor of the Custodial Department.
On Friday, June 12, 2020, Ricks answered the Heavenly summons as the Master spoke.He is preceded in death by his dad Clint Ricks. We're grateful for the time spent with him and expecting to see him again are: his mother Gladys Robinson Stubbs; six children, Stacy Wilkins, DeRon Ricks, Tinika Ricks, Daveyon Ricks, Alexanderia Johnson and Quinton Jones; five brothers, Larry (Donna) Robinson, Sherwood, Arkansas; James (Shawn ) Robinson and Michael Robinson both of Little Rock, Arkansas; Barry Robinson, Stuttgart, Arkansas; Clints Ricks, Sherwood, Arkansas; four sisters, Marzetta Crawford and Cindy Daigre both of Los Angeles, California; Yolanda Wilks and Leesther Abernathy of Little Rock, Arkansas; three aunts, Faye Robinson, Mattie Bryant and Helen Robinson; a faithful and loving fiance', Phyllis Edmondson, a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
