Paul Frederick Ford was born on March 12, 1960 in Camden, Arkansas to Marva (Albert) Perkins and Elmer Ford. He was the oldest of four siblings. Paul accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor Bass. Paul joined the National Guard from August 1978- November 1978.
Paul was a loving, caring, and strong person. Paul was a hard and dedicated worker. He was employed with Johnson's Control from 1988-1999. He was formerly employed with Good Shepherd Retirement Center in 2008-2019 until his health failed. Paul enjoyed his wife's cooking and the great care that she extended to him.
Paul was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. He always promised his wife he would keep the faith and fight until he couldn't fight anymore. His spirit transitioned from this world to be with our Heavenly Father on December 22nd. He was greeted by his Heavenly Father; father, Elmer Ford; grandmother, Dorothy Giles; son, Johnathen Foggle, sister, Annette Bates-Dickerson; aunt, Shirley Albert; and two uncles, Bill and Eizzer Albert.
He continues to love, live and inspire through his devoted wife, Betty Ford; son, Rodney White; daughter, Keisha (Craig) James all of Little Rock, Arkansas; mother, Marva C. Perkins (McArthur) of Little Rock, Arkansas; two brothers, Fredrick Bates and Kevin Ford of Camden, Arkansas; sister, Rozlar Bates of Little Rock, Arkansas; aunt, Faye (George) Robinson; uncle, Sam (Peggy) Albert of Camden, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Gloria George; three sisters-in-law, Kathy Hill, Gloria Bunch, Sheila (Paul) Williams all of Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers-in-law, Derek (Leticia) Richards of Leavenworth , Kansas; Darrell and Sidney Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas; three special nieces Sharonda, Valronda, and Dominique of Little Rock, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Our hearts are beyond broken, Paul (Bunyon). It was a privilege and honor to have you in our lives. We will always love you.
