Tommy Edward Kelleybrew, 71, the son of the late Sallie Mae Kelleybrew Brown, was born June 16, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In 1969, he graduated from Metropolitan High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 1970, he enlisted and served four years in the United States Air Force. After returning home from the military, he worked at Union Pacific Railroad for more than thirty years.
While in high school, he met the love of his life, Gloria D. Roberson Kelleybrew. They united in holy matrimony on July 10, 1971. To this union, three children were born. They enjoyed thirty-five years of marital bliss prior to Gloria's death in 2006.
He accepted a hope in Christ at St. Matthew Baptist Church in 2002.
He loved celebrating his children's achievements and special events (and getting dressed up to do so). He also enjoyed participating in family gatherings, where he would be one of the first in line to eat and would make sure to remind everyone how pretty he was.
He departed this life on Saturday, October 8, 2022. In addition to his wife and mother, Tommy is preceded in death by stepfather Ardist L. Brown, Sr., one brother, Jerry Sabbs and one sister, Pamela Bedford.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters: Shaneen Sloan (James) and Monique McDowell (Lawrence) both of Sherwood; two sons: Byron Kelleybrew of Little Rock and Delvin Kelleybrew of New York, New York; eight grandchildren: Dominique, Kaelon, Tavionne, Leah, Kayla, Jayden, Isaiah, and Lauryn; one great-grandchild: Kassidy; four sisters: Kim Brown and Angela Brown, both of Little Rock, Tuwana Lewis and Sharon; four brothers: Gregory Brown (Gail) of Sherwood, AR, Ardist Brown, Jr. (Peggy) of Alexander, AR, Jamarr Brown (Donna) of Little Rock, AR and Lonnie Cook (Loretta) of Dallas, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
