A Time To Be Born
Wivolene Jones Mitchell was born December 9, 1935, to the loving arms of Joseph Jones and Lizzie Slater Jones.
A Time To Live
Wivolene Jones Mitchell attended Carver High School in Lonoke, Arkansas. After graduating high school she attended Dunbar College in Little Rock for a short period of time. Wivolene then married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Herman L. Mitchell, Sr. and to this union ten children were born "Now That's Love," Eldred Bernon, Herman Jr., Sybil Maranda, Eric Brent, Wivolene Jr., Errol Blair, Sarita Melissa, Sheila Melanie, Edgar Brian, and Hillary Lynn. After Wivolene's children became young adults she attended Eastern College of Health Vocations with her daughter Sybil by her side. They both graduated together to become medical assistants. Wivolene became one of the best caregivers to many. She was an accomplished seamstress to family and friends. A lover of puzzles and pearls you could catch her sitting at the front table working on a puzzle where anyone who came by was welcome to sit or stand to add a piece to the puzzle. Sister Mitchell was a faithful pioneer until her health started to decline.
A Time To Serve
Sister Mitchell was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over fifty years. She was a dedicated member, a true servant to Jehovah. You would see her on many occasions low riding with her sisters spreading Jehovah's word. She touched many, many lives. Mom loved family she would always do whatever it took to make family reunions be filled with fellowship, food, fun and the family history which she enjoyed connecting the dots. Mom was so loving, caring, peaceful and supportive to all of her children, and grandchildren. Mom, granny, Sister Mitchell, Mrs. Mitchell, and Wivolene will be extremely missed by many.
