I was saddened to hear the news that Aunt Sugg had passed. I'll never forget the laughs and I'm grateful to have known her during her energetic, loving years. My hope is the family will heal from the hurt of her no longer being present but will hold on to her memories to bring joy on sad days. Rest peacefully Aunt Sugg.

First, let me express my heartfelt condolences. I live in New England and a high school friend of mine (from 45 years ago) emailed me condolences thinking that this was MY mother. Amazingly, my mother's name was also Mary Helen Sabbs!! My family had always thought that we, (with our known extended family), were the only Sabbses! This is an amazing coincidence. Our Mary Helen grew up in Fayetteville, NC, and our father, Frederick Sabbs, grew up in Washington, DC. Unfortunately, our dad passed away in 1980, and Mary Helen passed away in 2003, and we miss them both every day. God Bless you and your Sabbs family, and may your Mary Helen Sabbs rest in peace. Patrick Sabbs
